We aim to create a solid foundation for all children attending our setting. Children are cared for in a
safe and stimulating environment which will enable them to achieve their full development by:

•Providing a place where young people and those working in childcare can train.
•Providing excellent quality early years education and care for children aged from birth - 5years
•Ensuring we are multi-cultural and respect all beliefs and aim to celebrate all religious festivals.

•Providing affordable childcare for parents who wish to go to work, return to full-time education or just want a break.
•Working in-conjunction with outside organisations like learning skills council, jobcentreplus, NHS, Local colleges and
university.
•Providing safe and secure environment where children from all backgrounds learn and play together (our nursery has
CCTV
) for extra security.
•Covering all aspects of the national curriculum and ensuring we implement the early years foundation stage (EYFS) to the
best of our ability.

•Having a inclusive practise, where all children are welcome to attend regardless of any special educational needs

•Providing healthy nutritious meals and snacks and incorporating multi-cultural foods to reflect the diversity in our setting.

•Ensuring all children are treated to their specific needs and feel loved, valued and respected.

About us

We are a large 70 place day nursery set in East Ham on a busy main road.  We are open plan and have no closed areas in the nursery.  Our nursery in sectioned into a baby room, toddler room, 2-3 room and a 3-5 room.  We have 18 permanent members of staff and at least 5 students on work placement.  All staff are qualified and are all CRB checked. We have now been open for 6 years. We implement the national curriculum and EYFS.  Our children learn in a safe stimulating environment through play.  We have a large enclosed outdoor play area which also has a shaded area so that children can play out in all weathers.  The children in 3-5 room benefit from French lessons once a week.  We are a multi-cultural nursery whose children and staff are very diverse.  Our practise is inclusive and we welcome children with special educational needs (SEN) .We also have specialised member of staff that can sign to deaf children.  A lot of our children speak English as their second language this is not a problem for us as most of our staff are bi-lingual.  We have staff who specialise in child protection, behaviour management, and SEN.  These members of staff are very passionate about what they do and have been on training courses and take their roles very seriously.  Our nursery is bright and vibrant and has a very welcoming feeling, our nursery manager has run this nursery since the day it was open.  Most of our staff have been with us for over  2 years for a day nursery our turn-over of staff is very low.
